Transferring iTunes to a new computer is not as simple as we may think. No matter your iTunes library is quite small or fully loaded with music and TV shows, moving iTunes can quickly turn into a real nightmare!
Then you probably wonder what would be the basics to transfer iTunes to a new PC without hassle?
TuneSwift is a nifty and easy-to-use application. Click here to download the program:
Transfer iTunes from PC to PC
In 4 steps, you will be able to move the COMPLETE iTunes library to a new computer (even to a Mac).
1. Click on "Transfer"
2. Choose "PC" or "Mac"
3. For "PC", now click on the "New Computer" button on the left
4. Select the destination folder. You can also customize the archive name. I recommend to use an external drive to move the iTunes library to the new PC
How do I restore iTunes library on the new machine?
1. Install and open TuneSwift on the second computer
2. Choose "Restore" and select the iTunes archive
You are done with the iTunes transfer!
After restoring, you will be able to manage and play your entire iTunes library on the other computer!
Cool isn't it?
Enjoy ;-)
